Daniel Dorminy of McDonough was surprised this week with a $10,000 scholarship from Nordstrom’s Ten 4 U program.

  Daniel was hosting a Constitution Day celebration for the students of his home school group, Soli Deo Gloria, when the surprise award was made.

  Nordstrom awards 80 scholarships of $10,000 each to high school juniors who demonstrate outstanding community involvement and live in the 31 states where they have stores.

   Daniel is the son of Ann and John Dorminy of McDonough.
