Wilhemina Beatrice Ewing Turner

  Mrs. Wilhemina Beatrice Ewing Turner, age 94, of Atlanta, GA passed away October 22, 2012. Mrs. Turner was born in Atlanta the daughter of the late Ruth Marie Green Ewing and Arthur Bailey Ewing Sr. Mrs. Turner was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing the piano, sewing and spending time with her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Paxon Turner Sr. and siblings, Daniel Green Ewing, Arthur Ewing Jr. and Martha Manning.

  Survivors are her children, Edward Paxon Turner Jr. (Suzanne) of Lilburn, Marie Camp (Steve) of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Rebecca Turner and Sarah Turner Sechelski (Adam); great granddaughter, Lily Sechelski; sibling, Ruth Young of Hawaii, Mary Grace Jones of NC and Clifford Ewing of TN; several nieces and nephews.

Robert Charles Lieb

  Mr. Robert Charles “Bobby” Lieb, age 80 of Hampton, Georgia passed away October 22, 2012. He was born in East Point, Georgia to the late Theodore Carl and Francis Douglas Craft Lieb. Bobby retired after over 40 years with Delta Airlines and enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ted Lieb and David Harris.

  Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Dixie Walters Lieb; daughters, Tracey (Jay) Fuller and Diane Ballenger all of Hampton; grandchildren, Danny Ballenger, Megan Fuller, Trey Fuller, HaLee Ballenger; great grandchildren, Zaydan Ballenger and Aria Ballenger; brother, Douglas (Nancy) Lieb of High Falls; several nieces and nephews.

  Memorial services were held October 25 from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Jay Fuller officiated. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to Sacred Journey Hospice or to the National Lung Association in memory of Bobby. Lynneah Elizabeth Anne Browning

  Miss Lynneah Elizabeth Anne Browning, age 12, of Covington, GA passed away October 24, 2012. Neah was born in Colorado Spring, CO and was a sixth grade honor student at Hampton Middle School. She was known for her loving sense of humor and energy. She enjoyed reading the Twilight series and purple was her favorite color. She was a member of Brownwood Baptist Church.

  Survivors are her parents, Tomarka and Jennifer Browning of Covington; siblings, Jaelyn Browning, Samantha Mazzant and Amyyeah Browning; grandparents, Judith and Donald Pander of McDonough and Lora Browning of Madison; great grandfather, Pledger Browning of Madison; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Anita M. Kaylor Maddox

  Anita M. Kaylor Maddox passed away on October 25, 2012. She was born on October 16, 1933 in Atlanta, Georgia. Anita loved to play golf, genealogy and was a member of the Augustin Clayton Daughters of the American Revolution and also a member of the Georgia Senior Womens Golf Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 48 years, Robert A. “Bob” Maddox and her son, Alan Mark Maddox.

  She is survived by her daughter: Robin (Allen) Haney, Fayette-ville; sons: David L. Maddox, Hapeville; Greg (Sally) Maddox, Stockbridge; daughter-in-law: Peggy Maddox, Augusta; sisters: Grace M. Prince, Sandersville, Beth Ann Little, Alpharetta; grandchildren: Kelly Winn Haney, Sarah Elizabeth Haney, Kaylor Main Maddox, William McClain Maddox, Robert Greg Maddox II and Connor Nicklaus Maddox.

  Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 3 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Darris Baker officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Colen G. Traywick

  Colen G. Traywick, age 81, of Stockbridge, GA died October 28, 2012. She was born in Clanton, AL to the late Willie Jackson and Onie Colen Watt Gray. Colen was a member of Southside Christian Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felston Rodney Traywick.

  She is survived by her daughters: Judy T. (William) Blackburn, McDonough; Joanie T. Richard-son, Stockbridge; sister: Ruth Gray Turner, Birmingham, AL; grandchildren: Amy (Tim) Jenkins, Keith (Amy) Blackburn, Jess Richardson, III, Melanie (Brian) Kimbrough; great-grandchildren: Leah Jenkins, Alex Kimbrough, Lauren Jenkins, Ashlyn Blackburn, Trapper Jenkins, Cody Kimbrough, Avery Blackburn, Conner Kimbrough, Tanner Jenkins, Carson Kimbrough, Jesse Jenkins and Aubrey Blackburn.

Allen Milton Rape

  Mr. Allen Milton Rape, age 94, of Locust Grove, GA passed away October 29, 2012. Allen was born in Henry County and a lifelong resident of Henry County. He was the son of the late Jessie Lee Craig Rape and Leroy Rape. He was a farmer in Henry County and raised cows most of his life. Allen was a very private and caring person.

  He is survived by several cousins.

  A graveside service for Allen will be held Thursday, November 1 at 3 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Dave Riley officiating.
