Donald Lawrence Bone
Mr. Donald Lawrence “Larry” Bone, age 50, of McDonough, GA passed away October 28, 2012. Larry was employed by Federal Express as a courier. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Larry enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, golfing, NASCAR, The Braves, football, traveling, vacationing with family, grilling and cooking.
Survivors are his wife, Belinda Austin Bone of McDonough; children, Justin Bone (Laura) of McDonough and Lauren Bone of McDonough; parents, Donald and Barbara Bone of Fayetteville; sister, Laura Burnette (Tony) of Brooks; nieces, Jennifer Bean (Chris) of Charleston, Candace Cody (Brad) of Fayetteville; father-in-law, William Lester Austin of Griffin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Ginger Austin of Jonesboro, and Mike and Vickie McKneely of Griffin; and several other very close nieces and nephews.

Elise G. O’Neill
Elise G. O’Neill, age 95, of McDonough, GA, a loving soul, passed peacefully on October 30, 2012 to join her Lord and loving husband, Bill. She was a quiet presence and loved to be with her friends at the Senior Center and her Church family at Union Grove Baptist. Elise retired from Sears in Miami after 26 years of service.
She is survived by her sons: William A. O’Neill, West Palm Beach, FL; Gary O’Neill and daughter: Donna (Gary) Phillips, both of McDonough; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Robert Emerson Joyner, Jr.
Mr. Robert Emerson Joyner, Jr., age 78, of McDonough, GA passed away October 30, 2012. Mr. Joyner was born in McDonough the son of the late Velna Gladys Hunt and Robert Emerson Joyner Sr. He served his country in the US Army from 1955 – 1957. Mr. Joyner was a member of Stark United Methodist Church. He retired from Delta Air Lines with 32 plus years of service. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, gardening, country and gospel music and riding his tractor.
Survivors are his daughters, Sherri Glover (Stephen) of Covington, Teri Odom (Bob Cox) of Marietta; special friend, Dianna Moseley of Morrow and her daughter, Heidi Boutwell (Brent) of McDonough; grandchildren, Taylor Leigh Odom, Robert Colby Odom (Nicole Davis), Caleb Ryan Odom, Jared Stephen Glover, Caroline Boutwell and Caleb Boutwell; great grandson, C J Odom; brothers and sisters-in-law, Huston and Jane Joyner of McDonough and Jim and Brenda Joyner of McDonough; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Opal "Memaw" Saunders, age 88, of Stockbridge, GA died October 31, 2012. She was born in Cosby, TN to the late Charles Vinson and Julia Louisa Large Killian. Opal was a member of the New Covenant Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Davis Saunders, son, Scott Saunders and daughter, Lynn Saunders Allen.
She is survived by her children: Brenda Holland, Stockbridge; Harold Dean (Virginia) Saunders, McDonough; Dianne (Wayne) Sims, McDonough; Bunny (Danny) Johnson, Jonesboro; David (Lynn) Saunders, Monticello; sisters: Pauline Galloway, Clyde, NC; Nell Haney, Clyde, NC; sister-in-law, Barbara (Charles) Russell, Gordon; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Carl Dean Kenon, Sr.
Carl Dean Kenon, Sr., age 76, of McDonough, GA died November 1, 2012. He was born in Raleigh Lake, IL to the late Emanuel and Orbie Brewer Kenon. Carl was a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. He was a District Manager at Western Union Telegraph with 38 years of service.
He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Ann Kenon, McDonough; sons: Chuck (Marcia) Kenon, McDonough; Carl (Terrie) D. Kenon, Jr., Jackson; sisters: Ruth (Donald) Schilling, Lexington, KY; and Barbara (Bill) Rathjen, Indianapolis, IN.

Ray Allen Adams
Mr. Ray Allen Adams, age 79 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away November 2, 2012. He was born in Moweaqua, Illinois to the late Reginald Allen and Sarah Amelia Zindel Adams. Ray graduated from Moweaqua High School, Class of 1951 and then went on to Murray State College in Paducah, Kentucky where he played football. Ray was drafted and served his country in the United States Army for two years after which he finished his education at Illinois State University, where he also played football. Ray was a educator and taught in Jerseyville, Decatur and Newman. He then spent the next 25 years as a teacher and coach at Joliet West, as the Athletic Director at Joliet East and as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Minooka High School. In 1989, Ray retired from the Illinois School System and moved to Georgia. He taught at Stockbridge High School for one year then moved on as the Eagles Landing High School Assistant Principal for the next 13 years before his retirement. Ray enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. “Our Dad loved to take “road trips”. The ocean, the mountains, anywhere he could travel by car. And he loved to take the “scenic route”! So Daddy, scope out the best places and one day we’ll all pile in the car and go on the scenic route together again.”
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Pat Adams of Locust Grove; children, Cathy (Vince) Gogerty of Decatur, IL and Dale (Candace) Adams of Stockbridge; grandsons, Ryan, Reno, Jacob, Jordan, Houston and Jesse; brother, Robert (Sherry) Adams of Paradise Valley, AZ.
