Grace C. Weaver
Grace C. Weaver, age 101, of McDonough, GA died Friday, November 2, 2012. She was born in Hattiesburg, MS to the late George W. and Evie Lena Rhodes Causey. Grace was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, Hattiesburg MS. She lived in Pascagoula, MS about 30 years. She was preceded in death by her son, Frank Astor Weaver, III; grandsons: Michael Ryan Weaver, and Robert Allen Weaver.
Grace is survived by her children: JoAnn Weaver (Dayle) Grose, McDonough; George C. (Debbie) Weaver, The Woodlands, TX; grandchildren: Thomas D. Grose, Jr., Atlanta; Jennifer Grose Wootten, Jonesboro; Cynthia Suzanne Grose, Koblenz, Germany; Patricia Grose Wells, Cartersville; Terry Frank Weaver, Mesa, AZ; Kim Weaver Koch, Mesa, AZ; Barry Glen Weaver, Houston, TX; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Michael Edward Lynch
Michael Edward Lynch, age 62, of Jackson, GA died Sunday, November 4, 2012. He was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Harvey Michael and Gloria Ann Palmer Lynch. He enjoyed working on old cars and his tractor. He loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his son, Buddy Rawls. Michael was a former Marine who loved his country.
Michael is survived by his wife, Sylvia Lynch, Jackson; daughter, April Rawls, Stockbridge; grandchildren: Destiny Perry and Brandon Rawls, both of Stockbridge; sisters: Harveylene Peterson, MS and Gloria Quattlebaum, McDonough; numerous nieces and nephews.

Philip Michael Hogan, Sr.
Philip “Phil” Michael Hogan, Sr., age 64, of Jenkinsburg, GA died Sunday, November 4, 2012. He was born in Gadsden, Al to the late William Calvin and Ann Parker Hogan. Phil was the owner/operator of Phil’s Southern Cooking in Stockbridge since 1982.
Phil is survived by his children, Philip (Julie) Hogan, McDonough, Tom (Elizabeth) Hogan, Stockbridge, Christi (David) Hutchinson, Jenkinsburg; Brandi Hogan, Stockbridge and Branden McGarry, McDonough; sisters, Daphne Barron, and Ann Hoover, both of Panama City, FL; eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial Services were held at North Henry Baptist Church on November 8 with Pastor Stan Jordan officiating. Rebecca P. Brown
Rebecca P. Brown, age 84 of McDonough, GA was born and raised in Henry County to the late James Zachary and May Harris Phillips. Rebecca was a member of Life In The Spirit Church in McDonough. She was preceded in death by David Lee Presten and Bernard L. Brown.
She is survived by her daughter Melody P. Jackson of McDon- ough, and her granddaughters Melissa J. Purvis and Candice J. (Noah) Gulledge; great granddaughters Jacquelyn Brooke Saunders and Lauren Bailey Purvis and grandson Jones Oliver Gulledge. Rebecca Brown is also survived by her sister Mrs. Hazel (E.A.) White, sister-in-law Bobbie (Max) Phillips, and numerous nieces and nephews. Special friends include Mrs. Ruth Carter, Pastor Jeff and Christine Clark and Jimmy Williams.

Ella Louise Coleman Rains
Mrs. Ella Louise Coleman Rains, 97, of Locust Grove, GA passed away November 5, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Ada Johnson and Thomas Jefferson Coleman. She was a lifelong member of Rogers United Methodist Church in Forsyth, GA. Mrs. Rains enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, flowers, puzzle books, singing and gospel music. Mrs. Rains was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Kimsey Rains; brother, Thomas Coleman and a sister, Elizabeth Richards.
Survivors are her children, Raymond and Connie Palmer of Ellijay, Ada Jean Sorrells of Douglasville, Patricia and Bobby Burns of Jackson, Karen and Johnny Hehir of Jackson and Cheryl and David Dye of Locust Grove; 15 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Shirley Mae Hicks Jones
Mrs. Shirley Mae Hicks Jones, age 76, of McDonough, GA passed away November 6, 2012. Mrs. Jones was born in Stone Mountain the daughter of the late Julia Marie Williams and Grady Hicks. Mrs. Jones enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sewing, crafts, and yard work. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Frank Jones.
Survivors are her children, Tami Tyler (John) of Covington, Terri Davis (Sam) of McDonough, Scott Jones (Beth) of Stockbridge, and Trina Jones of Jackson; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

Linda Malcom Lycett
Linda Malcom Lycett, aged 62, of McDonough, Georgia passed away to be with her Lord on November 7, 2012. A retired teacher of the gifted from the Clayton County school system, Linda also taught 4 year old Sunday School classes for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Malcom.
Linda is survived by her husband, Paul W. Lycett of McDonough; her daughters, Mary Beth and Kirby Smart of Tuscaloosa, AL and Anne and Michael Toothaker of Alpharetta; her beloved grandchildren, Jane Toothaker and Weston, Julia and Andrew Smart; her mother, Mardelle Malcom of McDonough; her sisters, Diane West of Cumming; and Judy Johnston of Hampton; and her brother, George Malcom of Social Circle.
A memorial service for Linda was held at Salem Baptist Church in McDonough on November 11 with Dr. Steve Bingham and Rev. Dan McKay officiating.
