The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Henry County will present Cooking for a Life Time Cancer Prevention School for women over 40 without insurance on Tuesday, December 11.

  The class, which costs $2 each, will teach you how to enjoy healthy food prepared in a variety of ways. You can learn more about the prevention of cancer through educational information provided by the American Cancer Society. Food choices which promote good health and possibly reduce the risk of cancer and other chronic illnesses will be discussed. Instructors will show you how to make recipes that are lower in fat, calories and sodium while being higher in fiber. Bright colors, delicious flavors and simple preparation will make these new menu items appealing to you and your family and friends.
