David "Dave" Hamilton, age 67, of Rex, GA passed away Friday, November 16, 2012. He was born in Fayetteville, NC to the late Floyd Mont and Eva Butler Hamilton. Dave was a member of Glen Haven Baptist Church in McDonough.. He was employed by Delta Airlines in the Consumer Affairs Department and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by his loving wife of 44 years; Barbara Hamilton, of Rex, son; Chris (Laurie) Hamilton of Locust Grove; daughters; Lorie Hamilton, McDonough and Angie (Lane) Harvey, McDonough and five grandchilren; Nicholas, Jon Michael, Aiden, Noah and Cameron.
Memorial Services were held November 19 at Glen Haven Baptist Church with the Rev. Stan Berrong and Rev. Ralph Easterwood officiating. Terry Langley, age 50 of McDonough passed away on November 18, 2012. She was a beloved daughter, mother and friend. She is preceded in death by her sister Karen.
She is survived by her mother Betty Taylor, daughter Destaney Cooper and son-in-law Chris Mooney, son, Christian Langley, fiancé, Duane Askew, 7 grandchildren, Tanner, Skylar, Mason, Hayleigh, Karlee, Lainie and Andrew. Brothers, David and Johnny, sisters, Debbie, Tracy, Robin and mother-in-law, Nene (Juanita) and ex mother-in-law Nell Childers. Best friends Kellie and Gina. Also, Christian’s father and stepmother, Scott and Cindy Langley.
Services were held on November 24 at Cornerstone Bible Church in McDonough. SouthCare Cremation and Funeral Society in Stockbridge.
Ellen Adams, age 54, of Stockbridge, GA died Sunday, November 18, 2012. She was born in Chatsworth to Ben and the late Jean-Ellen Snyder Jinkins. Ellen attended Stockbridge First Baptist Church and is a former member of Eagles Landing Baptist Church in McDonough. She was a member of the Bunco Babes and was employed by Carlock Copeland and previously worked for 25 years at Weinberg Wheeler.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Adams; father, Ben Jinkins of NC; a brother, John Jinkins; her aunt, Carolyn Martin and two beloved dogs; Snoopy and Bell.
Memorial Services were held November 25 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Pastor Terry Hash officiating. Norman Dwight Browning
Mr. Norman Dwight Browning, age 56, of Franklin, GA passed away November 20, 2012. Norman was born in Pineville, KY the son of the late Earl Drexel and Mary Wilder Browning. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing and sharing stories and memories with family. Norman was known for being able to fix anything and was an all around handyman.
Survivors are his wife, Mona Browning of Franklin; children, Stacey Driggers (Chip) of McDonough, Billy Thompson (Tara) of Spartanburg, SC, Christy Bradberry (Mike) of Griffin; grandchildren, Jay Pickens, Blake and Kaitlin Smarr, Rileigh and Kayden Thompson, Trevor and Christopher McGouirk; sister, Carol Berglund (John) of Cape Coral, FL; niece, Britney Berglund of Cape Coral, FL.

Donald John Epperson
Mr. Donald John Epperson, better known as Slick/Pops, age 71, of Locust Grove, GA passed away November 20, 2012. Mr. Epperson was born in Cumming, the son of the late John Mitchell and Ollie Mae Smith Epperson. Mr. Epperson enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching his grandchildren play sports, playing golf and being a lady’s man. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Nave and a sister, Eloise Clark.
Survivors are his children; Terry Smith (Wanda) of TN, Red Epperson (Tracey) of Jackson, Rhonda Bailey (Chris) of Hampton, Wanda Nave Epperson of Hampton; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Gladys Myers of Clarkston, Ivan Epperson (Kathryn) of Duluth, Raymond Epperson (Kathy) of Marietta, and Viola Price (Ralph) of Montezuma; several nieces and nephews.

Edna Earle Evans Hammock
Mrs. Edna Earle Evans Hammock, age 97, of Locust Grove, GA passed away November 19, 2012. Mrs. Hammock was born in Henry County, the daughter of the late John Henry and Alma Parker Evans. Mrs. Hammock was an active member of the Locust Grove First Baptist Church where she enjoyed her Sunday School class and the Jolly Elders. She was a seamstress for A W Walker Furniture Company for 38 years before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, visiting and sitting on her front porch, reading, flowers and music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Thaxton “Ted” Hammock, daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Cecil Rosser and all of her siblings.
Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and J.W. Jenkins of McDonough, Jan and Dan Long of McDonough; grandchildren, Barry and Monica Jenkins, Kim Jenkins, Skip and Becky Long, Christina and David Bartholic; 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Derrell H. Martin
Derrell H. Martin, age 82, passed away November 21, 2012. A native of Vardaman, Mississippi, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Felix Martin and Nellie Effie Martin, and his brother, Carl W. Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Ottie Lee Martin, McDonough; his daughters, Vicki (Bruce) Clark and Carol Walcher, both of Coldwater, MI; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Elise Dugger King
Mrs. Elise Dugger King of McDonough, GA formerly of Savannah passed away November 25, 2012 at the age of 98. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Mrs. King was predeceased by her husband, John Frank King; grandson, John C. Milliner III; and a granddaughter, Katherine Elise Price.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Maree and John Milliner of McDonough and Carolyn and Tom West of Savannah; brother-in-law, Ervin Sloan (Martha) of Savannah. She is also survived by grandchildren, Judith Tuggle (Rusty), Elizabeth Crutcher (Wayne), Deborah Price (Randy), and Tommy West Jr. (Tina); 8 great grandchildren, Justin (Emily), Courtney, Sarah, Andrew, Jessica, Katelyn, Brittany and Amy.
