Mr. Logan Harrison, 91, passed away on January 19, 2013. He has born October 24, 1921 in Forest Park, GA the son of the late Mary Ethel and Thomas Harrison. He served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. He also worked at Zep Mfg. Co. Logan was a devoted husband to his late wife of 62 years, Evelyn Fritchie Harrison. He was also a loving father and Gramps to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors are his children, Charlene and David Perry of Snellville, Tommy and Jeanne Harrison of Richmond Hill, and Nancy and Dean Timmons of Cedartown; grandchildren, Dave Perry of Lawrenceville, Ken Perry of Snellville, Megan Perry of Lawrenceville, Tommy (Bunk) of Bensalem, PA, Jennifer Harrison of McDonough, Erin Walters of Cedartown, Shelby and Norman Williams of Millen, and Zach Timmons of Athens; 12 great-grandchildren, Emory, Ryan and Jack Perry, Carson and Avery Perry, Mary Evelyn and Jonathan Harrison, Annalee and Logan Walters, Nora Kate, Nox and North Williams; sisters Vinnie Shellnut, Muriel and Douglas Langley and Rhenita Peel, all of McDonough and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Robert E. Watts
Retired E6 Robert E. Watts, age 71, of Stockbridge, GA died January 19, 2013. He was born in Columbus, OH to Robert Emerson and Edna Irene Wright Watts. Bob was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Stockbridge. Mr. Watts was a veteran of both the Vietnam War and Desert Storm.
Mr. Watts is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Watts, Stockbridge; children: Becky Ann (Ronald) Taylor and Robert Earl Watts; grandchildren: Ashley Latta, Robert Evan Watts, Bethany Lynee Watts, Vanessa Gail Watts and Erica Paige Taylor.

Thomas Belford, age 82, of Stockbridge, GA died January 19, 2013. He was born in McClenny, FL to the late Charlie and Annie Daniels Belford. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vonceil Belford; siblings, Charlie Belford, Elijah Farmer, Johnny Farmer, Lawrence Baker and Bessie Coleman.

George Carroll Luna
Mr. George Carroll Luna, age 79 of Hampton, Georgia passed away January 21, 2013. He was born in Shelbyville, Tennessee to the late William Alexander and Kathrine Elizabeth Campbell Luna. George was the Pharmacist and owner of Luna Drug Company for over 30 years where he enjoyed working and serving his customers. He was a member of the Hampton Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, Shriners of Atlanta and the Sheriff’s Posse. He had been a member of Berea Christian Church and more recently a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville. He and his wife both enjoyed being private pilots and owned several airplanes over the years.

Juanda Ramsey Beshears
Mrs. Juanda Ramsey Beshears, age 83 of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 21, 2013. She was born in Perrin, Texas to the late Ollie Holbert and Myrtle Custis Ramsey. Juanda was a graduate of North Texas State University and a member of the First Baptist Church of McDonough. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and grandchildren and was very active in her church. She was preceded in death by siblings, CB, Olevia, Lewis, Clarence, Earl, Faye, Leo and Helen.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Bill Beshears of McDonough; children, Mark (Mary) Beshears of Houston, TX, Barbara Worrell of Suwanee, Paul Beshears of Atlanta, Beth Beshears of Stockbridge, David (Michelle) Beshears of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Will, Matt, Rebecca, Michael, Stewart, Alec, Ramsey and Sara Kate; brother, Glyn Ramsey of Colorado Springs, CO; numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas Wilson Garnett, Sr.
Thomas Wilson (Dock) Garnett, Sr. age 85, McDonough, GA went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2013. He was born in Paxville, SC on September 15, 1927, to the late Joe and Beulah (Thigpen) Garnett. He was preceded in death by brothers Joseph and Howard Garnett and sisters Alma Garnett and Kathryne Bailey.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Quillan Rentz (Penny) Garnett of McDonough, sons and daughters-in-law Tommy (Donna) Garnett of McDon-ough, Terry (Deanna) Garnett of Woodbridge, VA, and daughter Debby Maddox of Locust Grove. Grandchildren Michael (Alexandra) Maddox of Cartersville, Kristy (Pat) Mont-gomery of McDonough, Jennifer Fargar of Atlanta, Courtney (Joe) Brown of Fernandina, FL, and Tanner (Courtney) Garnett of Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Garnett was a WWII Veteran and served in the U.S. Navy in the naval air transport service as a flight attendant from September 1945 to September 1949. He was an Ordained Deacon at Second Baptist Church in Forest Park until he moved to Henry County in 1999, where he became a member of Henry Baptist Church. After his retirement from Carson’s Furniture Store of Atlanta, he worked at Sam’s Club in McDonough until his death. His love of life, family and friends will be missed.
