Mrs. Toni Regina Shellhorse Brock, age 63, of McDonough, GA passed away February 17, 2013. Toni was born in Atlanta, GA the daughter of the late Eugene and Betty Lou Steele Shellhorse. Toni worked most of her working career as a legal secretary. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking and traveling.
Survivors are her husband, Darryl Brock of McDonough; children, Scott Morgan (Jennifer) of Washington, Ryan Morgan (Christy) of Locust Grove and Katie Still of Washington; four grandchildren; siblings, Jeff Shellhorse (Traci) of Hampton, Dawn Steele of Stockbridge and Connie Felintin (Burt) of Powder Springs; several nieces and nephews.

Bobby Crawford Brown
Mr. Bobby Crawford Brown, age 85, of Locust Grove, GA passed away February 17, 2013. He was born in Luella, GA the son of the late Henry Clifford and Kate Pendley Brown Sr. Bobby served his country in the US Army, worked for Southern States, and retired from Delta Air Lines with 20 years of service. He was a member of the Locust Grove United Methodist Church where he served in all areas of the church. He was a devoted and supportive husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was known for his sense of humor, wood working and working on antique cars and trucks. He was preceded in death by siblings, James Brown, Clifford Brown, Julian Brown, Leslie Brown and Katherine Ernst.
Survivors are his wife of 59 plus years, Polly Colwell Brown of Locust Grove; children, Penny Brown of Locust Grove, Karen and John Ditzler of McDonough, Leitha Brown of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Serena and Matt Roy of Locust Grove, Keegan Ingram of McDonough, Malinda and Cody Pierce of McDonough, Amanda Ditzler and Tyler Schwabacher of Palo Alto, CA, Brooke Ditzler of San Francisco; great grandchildren, Greyson Roy of Locust Grove, Sydney Schwabacher of Palo Alto, CA; sister, Barbara Brown Hurst of Doraville; Sister-in-law, Jean Brown of Griffin; brother-in-law, Russ Ernst and wife Joan of Atlanta; numerous nieces, nephews and close family.

Oscar Palmer Sims
Mr. Oscar Palmer Sims, age 91, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away February 17, 2013. Mr. Sims was born in Locust Grove, GA, the son of the late Oscar Wesley and Mary Lee Patrick Sims. He served his country in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He was the oldest member of County Line Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for 59 years. He was a former city councilman for the City of Locust Grove. Mr. Sims attended Anderson Aircraft School in Nashville, TN and went to work in San Diego, CA for Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Factory building B-24 Liberator planes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed farming and driving his tractor, gardening, owned and operated a saw mill, and was an avid Braves fan. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Savage; siblings, Charlie Sims, Thomas Sims, Lucy Allen, Dorothy Nix, Elizabeth Sims and Annie Louise Sims.
Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Ida Lou Sims of Locust Grove; children, Pamela Savage of Locust Grove, Billy and Leanna Sims of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Chad and Mindy Sims of Locust Grove, and Travis Sims of Locust Grove; great grandson, Connor Sims; siblings, Lois Babb and Randolph Sims; several nieces and nephews.

Patricia Elliott, age 50, of Hampton, GA died February 17, 2013. She was born in Erie, PA to George Ronald and Judith Ann Gorney Casey. Patty loved to travel, enjoyed documenting life through photography, and working in her garden. She was a friend to all stray animals, but most of all she was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and lived life to the fullest.
Patty is survived by her loving husband of 17 years: Carl; children: Ryan Casey Elliott, Taylor Marie Elliott, Hampton; parents, George R. and Judith Ann Casey, McDonough; siblings: Paula Erickson, Dunedin, FL; Ron Casey, Tomball, TX; mother-in-law: Maria B. Betty Jo Little
Mrs. Betty Jo Little, age 81 of Hampton, Georgia passed away February 18, 2013. She was born in Hampton, Georgia to the late Arnold Eugene and Ruby Lee Brown Floyd. She graduated from Jonesboro High School and was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church for 63 years. She was the church custodian for many years, enjoyed eating out and working word search books. The most important thing in her life was her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James David “Jimmy” Little; step-mother, Mary Kate Barnes Floyd; brothers, Cecil and Jack Floyd and infant great granddaughters.
Survivors include her children, Bonnie Lynn Little of Hampton, Donna (John) Bartlett of Stockbridge, Sheryl Deeter of McDonough, Keith (Felicia) Little of Dothan AL; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Mildred (Johnnie) Renfroe of Milner, Claudene Ballard of Hampton, Dorothy (Howard) Blessitt of Forsyth; brother, Gerald K. (Ann) Floyd of Milner; sister-in-law, Martha Floyd of Pendergrass.

Mrs. Nira Lene McKeehan Martin age 79, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away February 18, 2013. She was born in LaGrange the daughter of the late David Aubrey and Mary Savannah Wilson McKeehan. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, singing and dancing. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Junior Martin; daughter, Deborah Lynn Willerson; siblings, Tommy McKeehan, Lavon McKeehan, Florence Brown, Rhetta Bailey, Jane Proctor and Verne Yarborough.
Survivors are her children, Rick Willerson (Jackie) of Panama City, FL, Donna W. Mr. Kellie Love, age 90 of McDonough, Georgia passed away February 22, 2013. He was born in Trafford, Alabama to the late F.J. and Pernie Tawbush Love. Kellie served his country in the United States Army during WWII in the 34th Infantry as a medic and retired after nearly 40 years with Atlantic Steel. He enjoyed country music, blue grass festivals and bird watching. He was preceded in death by wives, Myra Hulsey Love and Betty Tawbush Love and by siblings, Persian Love, Nellie Buckner, Zuma Tidmore and Marie Morris.
Survivors include his children, Benny Love of McDonough, Judy (Thomas) Wallace of Temple, Byron (Susan) Love of McDonough; grandchildren, Kelley (Melissa) Wallace, Christy Berryhill, Karen Love, Myra (Kenneth) Gray; great grandchildren, Brianna, Abigail, Patrick, Reagan and Catherine.
