Pauline Marstaller Plummer
Mrs. Pauline Marstaller Plummer, age 86, of Stockbridge, GA passed away March 24, 2013. Mrs. Plummer was born in Reading, MA the daughter of the late August and Elizabeth Irene Brougham Marsteller. She was a member of Open Door Chapel in McDonough. Mrs. Plummer enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, sewing, photography, traveling and cooking. She was preceded in death by husbands, Lester McKenzie and Paul Plummer and a sister, Jean Sandford.
Survivors are a sister, Marguerite Plummer; nieces and nephews, Dan Plummer, Jeff Plummer, Ron Plummer, Judy Plummer Bates, Sandi Sandford Demme, Rowena Sandford, Corona Sandford, Brenda Sandford Brown, Frank Sandford, and Calvin Sandford.

Norman Bailey, age 80, of Rex, GA died March 27, 2013. He was born in Atlanta to Albert Bailey and Louanna Bailey. He was retired from Kraft Foods. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Cullen Bailey, John Bailey and Albert Bailey; and his sisters, Dorothy Phillips and June Barney.
Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Barbara Bailey, and his son Michael Norman Bailey, of Rex. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Ashley Lynn Bailey, a brother, Ronald Bailey; and sisters, Joan Scales, Maryann Bailey, and Jean Downs.

Bobby Kenneth Pye
Battalion Chief Bobby Kenneth Pye, age 74, of Jonesboro, GA passed into the arms of Jesus on March 28, 2013 at Vitas Hospice in Stockbridge. Kenneth was born in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Eugene and Corine Pye. He grew up in Atlanta and loved it all of his life. He graduated from Hoke Smith High School in 1957 where he was president of his senior class and an outstanding football player. After high school he went to work in the stockroom at Sears on Ponce De Leon while attending Georgia State University. Kenneth joined the Atlanta Fire Department in 1959 and retired as a Battalion Chief in 1987 where his heart and soul remained after retirement. He married Kathryn Eaton in 1959 and they had a wonderful family together. Kenneth was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church in McDonough for 43 years, where he served as an usher. He was a devoted family man and always loved each one of them dearly and was always there for therm. He will be missed greatly by all of them and his memory always loved. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Alfred Pye and a sister, Nedra Barnes.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathryn Eaton Pye of Jonesboro; daughter, Kathy Pye Hammond (Gregg) of Jonesboro; son, Dusty Brown Pye (Angie) of Starke, Florida; three grandchildren, Jessica Samson (Aaron) of McDonough; Audrey Cabe (Jeremy) of Stockbridge; Kenneth Pye of Starke, Florida; 6 great grandchildren, Addison Samson, Gwyneth Cabe, Ava Claire Samson, Harlie Pye, Gavin Cabe and Brody Samson; sister, Barbara Pye Anderson of Dallas and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth Gail Shropshire White of Stockbridge, GA, passed away on March 30.
Survivors include Hal L. White, Sr. of Stockbridge, Wendy W. Brockman, of Madison, Paige W. Rhodes, of San Antonio, TX, Hal L. White, Jr, of Stockbridge; Grandsons, Eric Brockman and Mitchell Rhodes; Brother, Donald C. Shropshire of Greenwich CT., and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy Rollins Harvey
Mrs. Dorothy Rollins Harvey, age 62, of Thomaston passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 in an Upson County Healthcare Facility. A native of Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late John William Rollins and the late Willie Rosette Bentley Rollins. Mrs. Harvey was a member of the Lilla Memorial Baptist Church. She was a registered nurse, and was employed by Heritage Inn Nursing Home.
Mrs. Harvey is survived by 4 children; Kim Holmes of Thomaston, Jimmy Harvey of Red Bank, Tennessee, Kathryn Antonio (and Salvador) of Milner, and Rusty Harvey (and Tina) of Stockbridge; 2 sisters; Betty Golden of Stockbridge and Ann Hartness of Dallas; 2 brothers - Johnny Rollins of Griffin and Jimmy Rollins of Jenkinsburg ; 8 grandchildren - Drew Holmes, Trevor Wise, Mya Jasmine Holmes, Donald Harvey, Malachi Holmes, Kendall Daugherty, Logan Harvey, and Izabella Antonio; and a number of nieces and nephews.

James Avery Coker
James Avery Coker, age 72, of Cleveland, GA passed away on April 1, 2013. He was the son of the late William and Blanche Coker. He served his country as a United States Marine from November 21, 1957 to November 20, 1961. He served as General Chairman of the local Inter-national Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railway in 2002. He was preceded in death by his brother Doug Coker.
He is survived by his spouse: Hazel Coker; siblings: Margaret (Earl) Boone and Wayne Coker; his children: Sheila Rosencrantz, Jamie (Jim) Wright, Billy (Kelle) Ray and Deana (Brad) Mosher and his beloved grandchildren: Laura, Caitlin, Julie, Emily, Chandler, Sutton, Davis and Avery plus several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors on Thursday, April 4 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Lewis officiating.
