Elizabeth Riley Hogan
Mrs. Elizabeth “Pinkie” Riley Hogan, age 88, of McDonough, GA passed away April 2, 2013. Mrs. Hogan was born in Atlanta, GA the daughter of the late James William and Alma Pauline Mitchell Riley. Mrs. Hogan retired from the Department of Defense Investigative Services with 42 plus years. Mrs. Hogan was a member of McDonough First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, her church family, gardening, traveling, reading, and sports. She was preceded in death by husbands, Buck King, Ernest Steve Owens and Jack Franklin Hogan.
Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Beth Owens of Lilburn; cousin, Betty B. Johnson of Clarksville, GA.
Funeral services were held April 6 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Darris Baker officiated. Interment The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery in Rex. Garnett Ellis, age 69, of Morrow, GA died April 3, 2013. He was born in Blairsville to the late Homer and Pauline Ellis. Garnett was a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by Dovie Gibson Ellis and his daughter, Selina P. Boylan.
He is survived by his wife: Carol Barrett Ellis, Morrow; daughter: Regina (Ben) Calmes, Jackson; grandson: Benjamin Lee (Shawna) Calmes, Jr.; step-sons: Richard "Ricky" Erickson, Morrow; David (Dana) Erickson, McDonough; sisters: Shirley (Ray) Kalb; Sue (Pete) Page; brother: Ronnie (Lottie) Ellis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Douglas Wallace James
Douglas Wallace James, age 75, of Jonesboro, GA died April 4, 2013. He was born in Canada to the late Wallace and Lilias Clark James.
He is survived by his wife, Yoneko James; sons, Donald (Angela) James, Jimmy (Donita) James, and Bob (Becky) James; siblings, Vicki Snyder, Dorothy Stake, Lilly Seeley; grandchildren, Jonathan, Will, Alicia, Christina, Brandon, Jolie and Bobby.

Kay Wade, age 56, of McDonough, GA died April 5, 2013. She was born in Atlanta to the late Gordy E. and Virgie C. Bivins Driver. Kay was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, Morrow.
Kay is survived by her husband: Cecil Wade, Jonesboro; son: Roger (Angie) Kirby, McDonough; mother: Virgie C. Driver, McDonough; siblings: Carolyn (Gary) Lee, McDonough; Ron (Brenda) Driver, Jonesboro; nieces and nephews.

Roy Lamar Goodson, Sr.
Mr. Roy Lamar Goodson, Sr., age 82 of McDonough, Georgia passed away April 6, 2013. He was born in Calhoun, Georgia to the late Green Berry and Ruby Lucille Van Horn Goodson. Roy served his country in the United States Marine Corp and was a graduate of Georgia Tech. He retired after 25 years with BellSouth where he was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Vista Americorp, the Census for Henry County, the Atlanta Olympics and enjoyed playing tennis and spending time at the Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Boozer.
Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Rita Winkenhofer Goodson of McDonough; children, Lari Sue (Charles) Johnson of Kathleen, Roy Lamar (Kim) Goodson, Jr. of Byron, John Russell Goodson of McDonough, Robert Christopher (Megan) Goodson of Phoenix, AR; grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson, Mathew Goodson; one great grandson, Zachary Johnson; brother, Jerry Goodson of McDonough; nieces and nephews.

Patricia H. Hardy
Patricia H. Hardy, age 73, of McDonough, GA died April 7, 2013. She was born in Birmingham, AL to the late John and Edith Hatley Harper. Patricia retired as a service representative from Bell South, and she is a lifetime member of the AT&T Pioneers.
Patricia is survived by her husband: Bill Hardy, McDonough; son: WM “Todd” (Rachel) Hardy; grandchildren: Bailey, Kendall Hardy; and sister: Jean Treadwell.

Robert A. Moseley
Robert A. (Bob) Moseley, age 65 of Stockbridge, GA died April 8, 2013. He was well loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He worked for Sun Trust Bank for 30 plus years, was a member of First Baptist Church of Decatur and a member of Panthersville Lodge #543 F&AM. After his retirement, Bob went to massage therapy school and was a certified massage therapist. In his later years he married Nora and resided in Stockbridge.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Moseley of Stockbridge; son, Andrew N. Dunaway and daughter-in-law, Stacy Pearsall both of Goose Creek, SC; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Elaine Moseley of Newborn and William Kelley and Cindy Moseley of Snellville; sister and brother-in-law, Lesa and Dewey Moseley-Ward of Cumming; nephews, Tracy Moseley of Buford and Justin Moseley of Sandy Springs; niece, Lauren Moseley of Snellville.
