The Henry County Parks and Recreation Department is offering two camps this summer, a summer day camp and a teen camp, that begin June 3 and last until August 2. Day camp includes field trips to the World of Coke, Fun Junction, Medieval Times, a Braves game and more. Children will also go swimming at High Falls State Park.

This camp is for kids ages 5 to 12, and it runs from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each weekday. Teen camp is open to ages 13 to 15, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Its trips include two excursions a week to places like Six Flags, Six Flags White Water, Fun Bowl, Sky Zone, and Helen for tubing.

Camps will be held at Heritage Park, the Locust Grove Recreation Center, J.P. Moseley Recreation Center, the Fairview Recreation Center and Nash Farm Park in Hampton. Day camp costs $100 each week. Additional children in families cost $90 each. The fee includes all field trips and camp activities. Teen camp costs $65 per week. Parents must also purchase a combo park season pass to Six Flags/White Water for this camp. Registration is open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Heritage Park or any aforementioned recreation centers. For more information, visit www.hcprd.org.
