Harry W. White, Sr.
Mr. Harry W. White, Sr. age 86, of McDonough, GA, formerly of Forest Park, died June 10, 2013. He was born in Decatur on March 10, 1927, to the late Grover C. and Lillie Mae White. He served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII, earning the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Japan Occupation Medal. He then retired as a diesel mechanic and then worked on his small farm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and taking care of his cows and chickens. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 33 years, Helen Rose White, and by siblings McAllen White, Jean Lee, Cleo White and Ann Hodges.
He is survived by his children, Hal (Jeannette) White of McDonough, Kenneth White of Locust Grove and Jewell (David) Owens of Cornelia; six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife, Jula Pebbles White, three step-children, Cindy (Brad) Fawcett of Mc-Donough, Mickey (Joyce) Bryant of Loganville and Keith Bryant along with 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Harry also had numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by siblings Edgar White of Decatur and Fred White of Baxley, along with the many friends he has made over the years.

Bryon Craig Bishop
Mr. Byron Craig Bishop, age 53, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away June 13, 2013. Craig was born in Etowah County, AL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Marzelle Huddleston Bishop and a son, Austin Taylor Bishop. Craig worked most of his working career in auto parts while traveling throughout the southeast. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, NASCAR and admiring cars.
Survivors are his son, Adrian Bishop of Locust Grove; father, Dawson Bishop of Vinemont, AL; brother, Bruce Adrian Bishop (Sharon) of Colorado; sister, Kathleen Fink (Rich) of Villa Rica; mother of his children, Pam Dodd of Tennessee; former stepdaughter, Katrina Miller; his Aunt Evelyn Wescott; and many nieces and nephews.

Cynthia Reinke Still
Mrs. Cynthia Reinke Still, age 58, of Locust Grove, died June 14, 2013. Cindy was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, her animals, gardening, crafts, photography and building bird feeders. She was preceded in death by her father, James Julius Reinke.
Survivors are her husband, Rusty Still of Locust Grove; children, Ashley Munroe (Brad) of Jackson, Melissa Still of Locust Grove; step children, Tisha Scroggins (Bobby) of Stockbridge and Derick Still of Hampton; mother, Elaine Bigger of Locust Grove; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Jimmy Reinke of Locust Grove, Amy Moates (Donnie) of Lakeland, FL, Danny Reinke (Barbara) Hampton, Paula Smith (Wayne) of Jonesboro; and many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth Earl Richardson
Mr. Kenneth Earl Richardson, age 74, of McDonough, GA, passed away June 16, 2013. Mr. Richardson was born in Aiken County, SC the son of the late Charles Marvin and Elizabeth Morris Richardson. Mr. Richardson served his country in the US Army from 1957 – 1960. He was known for being a hardworking man, spending time with family, fishing, NASCAR, enjoying pro wrestling, playing penny poker and the slot machines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Speed Richardson; daughter, Vicki Mann; and a brother, Leonard Richardson.
Survivors are his son; Richard Richardson of Snellville; grandson, Brad Mann of McDonough; siblings, Randy Richardson (Teresa) of Cummings and Faye Webb (Henry) of SC; several nieces and nephews.

Jackson Levi Rutledge
Jackson Levi Rutledge, son of Cassandra Rutledge and Sonny Lowry was delivered on June 12, 2013 at 8:20 a.m. at Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center. Although Jackson was called Home by the Angels before taking his first breath, he is greatly loved and cherished by his entire family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Bailey Lowry; grandparents, Julie and Steve Hesler of Newnan and David Rutledge of McDonough; great grandparents, Naomi Rutledge of Lavonia, Virginia Carroll of Tucson, AZ and Tony Palmer of Margaret, AL; aunt, Savannah Rutledge of Grantville; uncle, Dakota Rutledge of McDonough.

Charles Reuben Cook
Mr. Charles Reuben Cook, age 68 of McDonough, Ga., passed away June 16, 2013. He was born in LaGrange, Ga., to the late Harvey Reuben and Elizabeth Alma Green Cook. Charles served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era stationed in Germany. He was a plumber for 30 years and was owner of Joshua’s Christian Academy Daycare for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, raising chickens, gardening and time at the beach.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Linda Pennington Cook; sons, Andrew (Lynn) Cook of Sharpsburg, Kevin (Tobie) Cook of Cleveland, Russell (Dawn) Cook of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Devyn Cook, Sydney Cook, Jason Cook-Scheick, Charles R. Cook; sisters, Ann Sheryl Newman of Brandenton, FL, Becky (Mark) Smith of Fayetteville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Gertrude Teresa Krol
Gertrude Teresa Krol, age 98, of McDonough, GA, died June 17, 2013. She was born in Chicago, IL on January 17, 1915, to the late Lawrence and Maryanna Maciaszek. She loved the Lord and was a parishioner of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in McDonough. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John S. Krol, Sr. in 1995 and by her brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Stella Maciaszek.
Survivors include her children, John (Jackie) Krol of Cary, IL, Timothy Krol of Palos Heights, IL and Maryann (Lou) Carter of McDonough, GA; grandchildren, John (Jennifer) Krol, Juliann Franklin, Amanda Carter and Haley Carter; great grandchildren, Jacob Franklin, Jenna Franklin, John Vernon Krol and Charlie Krol. The family would like to express their appreciation to her caregivers, Claudia Lagasse, June Pitney and especially Nancy Suttles and Frances Breedlove. Thanks also to the people of St. James, who picked her up for church and came to give her communion when she was unable to attend church anymore and to Sacred Journey Hospice for making her last few days comfortable.
A Funeral Mass was held June 19 from the St. James the Apostle Catholic Church with Monsignor Terry Young as Celebrant. A funeral service will be held June 22 at 10 a.m. from the Chapel of Ridge Funeral Home in Chicago. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
