Sara M. Pair
Mrs. Sara M. Pair, age 87 passed away on June 21, 2013 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. Mrs. Pair was born February 6, 1926 in Henry County to the late Dewitt Talmage Austin, Sr. and Nena Nail Austin. Sara was a homemaker, retired hair dresser and member of First Baptist Church of Locust Grove. She is preceded in death by husband Alton Eugene (Peekie) Pair, daughter Norma Lynn Pair and brother D. T. Austin, Jr.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Penny and Keith Wesley of Griffin; son and daughter-in-law Joe and Pam Pair of Locust Grove; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sisters Sylvia Crumbly and Diane Moss of McDonough and several nieces and nephews.
Interment Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough. Dr. Craig Bowers and Dr. Keith Wesley officiated. Maynard Arthur Robinson
Maynard Arthur “Robbie” Robinson, born February 24, 1939 in Warsaw, IN to Joseph and Margret “Ralphine” (Justus) Robinson, died June 21, 2013. Robbie grew up in St. Joe, Indiana. He was very proud of his Scottish heritage and his service in the Indiana Air National Guard and the United States Navy as a Petty Officer 2nd Class. He met his future wife, Mary Louise Harris, while stationed at NAS GLYNCO in Brunswick, Georgia. They were married in 1963 and moved to Indiana where their two children were born. They returned to Georgia in 1970 with an employment change. In 1972 he formed Robbie’s Repairs in McDonough and for 12 years plied his trade as a handyman and remodeler. In 1984 he entered the petroleum industry in electrical service. In 1992 he obtained partial ownership of Petroleum Equipment Co. in Mableton, Georgia. He retired from that business in 2002 as its sole owner. He was active in his church, McDonough Presbyterian, both as a deacon and cook for the Wednesday night suppers. He was also proud of his tenure on the McDonough Preservation Commission and the addition of the majority of properties in the city to the National Park Service’s Register of Historic Places. He coached boys’ baseball and girls’ softball for MYA during the 1970’s and 1980’s. He was PTA president of the elementary, McDonough Middle and Henry County High schools. He was also a member and a Melvin Jones Fellow of the McDonough Lions Club, Commander of Post 55 American Legion, served on the board of the Henry County High School Scholarship Foundation, and a volunteer for numerous events in the city. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Stanley, and a granddaughter, Amelia.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Louise; his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Leonard Ferron of McDonough, his son, Kevin of Sacramento, California; a brother, Lynn, of Avilla, IN; and four grandchildren, the lights of his life, Leonard IV “Ivey”, Evelyn, Isaac and Claire, all of McDonough. Keith Bell, age 56 of Stockbridge, GA died June 22, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Geri Bell, daughter, Carole Bell, sister, Leian Underwood, brother, Jimmy Bell, grandchildren, Darian Ruff, Keyon and Keiara McClendon, and a granddaughter expected in October.

Robert E. Long
Robert E. Long, age 82, of McDonough, GA died June 22, 2013. He was born in Madison to Homer Reid and Ella Iomie Moss Long.
Mr. Long is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Wank Long, McDonough; daughter, Kathy (Jim) Long Laky, Myersville, MD; son, Robert (Alison) Long, Birmingham, AL; his siblings, J.B. Long, Apalachee, Earl Long, McDonough, Wanda Ann (Joe) Landress, Stockbridge, GA and Leonard (Catherine) Long, Apalachee; and his beloved granddaughters, Diana Laky and Kaitlyn Laky.

Mary Louise Jones Sullivan
Mrs. Mary Louise Jones Sullivan, age 86 of McDonough, Georgia passed away June 22, 2013. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Malcolm Litton and Sarah McGonigle Jones. Mary Lou was a parishioner of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed flowers, cross stitching, playing cards, watching game shows, bird watching, taking cruises and time on the computer. She loved to reminisce, laugh and dote on her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kerry Louise Sullivan Belcher.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Sullivan; children, Donald James (Debbie) Sullivan, Jr. of Aurora, CO, Colleen Sullivan (Jerry) Austin of McDonough, Patrick Thomas (Vickie) Sullivan of Dallas, TX, Lori Sullivan (Charlie) Brockett of Euless, TX, Michael (Robyn) O Sullivan of Stockbridge; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Rumin of Saxonburg, PA; brother, Richard (LaVerne) Jones of Santee, CA.
Memorial services were held June 26 from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The Reverend Jeffrey M. Halenza officiated. Danny Aaron Brown
Danny Aaron Brown, age 62, of Stockbridge, GA died June 23, 2013. He was born in Knoxville, TN to the late Charles Aaron Brown and Jessie Beatrice Adcox Brown. Danny was retired from the Fulton County Tax Assessors' office. Danny is an 1969 graduate of Rule High School and member of Westside Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in 1973 from Berry College, where he was on a full athletic scholarship playing basketball and where he met his beloved Jennifer. Danny worked in both the public and private sector of property tax assessment. Danny was an avid fisherman who enjoyed boating and camping with family and friends; however, he received the most joy from playing with his grandchildren.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Jennifer Brown; mother, Jessie Brown, Sevierville, TN; children, Erin (Clay) Godfree and Ben (Abbey) Brown; grandchildren, Gracee, Gage and Luke, all of McDonough; brother Dennis Brown, Acworth.
