  Life in the Spirit Full Gospel Church invite the community to Homecoming on Sunday, October 20. Pastor Ron Smith, Senior Pastor of Independent Methodist Church of Eatonton will be the guest speaker. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Lunch on the grounds will follow the service.   First Christian Church Stockbridge has their Children’s Harvest Festival Thursday, Oct. 31, from 6  to 8 p.m. in the gym. Free candy, food, games, and a cake walk. Call 770-474-2285 for more info. The church is located at 102 Valley Hill Road in Stockbridge.


  Wesley Chapel UMC invites the community to their Annual Men’s Day Celebration on October 20 at 9:45 a.m. There will be one service only.   Agape International Ministries will host its annual Fall Harvest Fest on Saturday, November 2 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The fun will include inflatables, free food, hayrides, games, arts and crafts, prizes, costume contest, Life South Community Bloodmobile, Henry County fire truck, a clown, vendors and more.   Glen Haven Baptist Church welcomes the community for “Hope for the World” Sunday on October 20 in the 8:15, 9:45, 11 a.m. worship services. Albania missionaries Roger and Cherie Mullins will share the ministry in the morning and evening services.   Flippen United Methodist Church will host a Catfish Fry on Saturday, October 26 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The meal will include catfish, hush puppies, french fries, cole slaw, drink and dessert.   Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church will have their Fall Festival on Thursday, October 31 from 5 until 8 p.m. They will have Trunk or Treat, a cakewalk, games, free hot dog supper, country store, and more.   Oakland Baptist Church will have a Trunk-R-Treat on October 26 from 4 - 6 p.m. They will have hot dogs, candy, a bouncy house, live music and face painting. Call the church office at 770-957-1222  for vendor fees and forms. The church is located at 1005 Hwy. 81 West in McDonough.


  Shiloh Baptist Church invites the community to come and eat with the Youth Ministry on Nov. 19 at Zaxby’s on Highway 20/81 near Wal-Mart. Zaxbys will donate 10% of all proceeds spent between 5 and 8 p.m. to help meet their goal on the Harvest Campaign. Call the church at 770-957-2344.   McDonough Presbyterian Church McYouth will have a Drive Thru Lunch on Saturday, October 19 from 11 a.m. until 2 pm. Lunch is 1/2 chicken, chips, and a cookie. Cost is $9 per plate. Proceeds will go to fund church youth summer trips to Montreat. For more info contact Destiny at 770-957-9890 or


  Community Bible Church will have their Trunk N Treat at the following locations: Comm-unity Main Campus on Sunday, October 27 at 5 p.m. The location is 2001 Jodeco Road in Stockbridge. It will also be held at Community Morrow Campus at Southlake Festival on Thursday, October 31 at 5 p.m. The location is 1550 Southlake Parkway in Morrow.
