  McDonough First UMC will present a “Living and Loving Evening Series,” a program for couples on Thursday, November 14 from 7 to 8:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Child care will be provided. Suggested $20 donation per couple. Also, their annual bazaar sale will be held Saturday, November 16 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the gym. They are accepting applications for booth space for vendors and crafters and individuals wanting to sell their stuff.   St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church invites the community to worship with them each Sunday in the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services.   Glen Haven Baptist Church invites the community to hear Sr. Pastor Stan Berrong on Sunday, November 10 in the 8:15, 9:45 and 11 services.  Grief Share is at 4 p.m. and Awana Clubs at 5:30 p.m. The evening service is at 6 p.m. Upward evaluations will be held Monday, November 11 and 18 from 6 until 8 p.m. in the gym.   Flippen United Methodist Church would like to thank those who helped make their Catfish Fry and Yard Sale on October 26 a success. The proceeds from the event will be used to further the local ministries of the United Methodist Church in outreach to the community and service based organizations within Henry County.   Shiloh Baptist Church Youth Ministry will have their last fundraiser at Zaxby’s on Highway 20/81 near Walmart on November 19.   Bethel UMC wants to gather the Mom’s of the community to share in the challenges and rewards of parenting from a Christian perspective.
