Peggy Pope Campbell
Peggy Pope Campbell, age 80 of McDonough, Georgia passed away October 31, 2013. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late John Hopson and Grace Mae Rutledge Pope. Peggy was a member of the Stockbridge Presbyterian Church and enjoyed baking, sewing, traveling the world and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Albert Campbell, Jr., by a daughter, Donna Campbell-Kemmerer and by a brother, Donald Eugene Pope.
Survivors include her children, Chuck (Joan) Campbell of McDonough, Stan (Karen) Campbell of McDonough, Greg Campbell of Stockbridge, Charlene Campbell-Dorner (Bill) of Jenkinsburg, Darlene Campbell Tew (Darryl) of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Kellikisha Kemmerer-Leatherman, Nicole Tew, Donna Gaganis, Rebekah Campbell, Dean Campbell, Rachel Campbell, Cara Campbell, Beth Campbell, Katie Campbell, Tyler Campbell and Todd Campbell; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held November 4 from the Stockbridge Presbyterian Church. Rev. Susan Bennett officiated. Interment Sherwood Memorial Park. Gregory Lynn Cline
Gregory Lynn Cline, age 57 of McDonough, Georgia passed away November 1, 2013. Greg was born in LaGrange, Indiana to Samuel and Shirley Preston Cline. He was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church and was co-owner of Engine Parts Warehouse for 15 years. Greg was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening, working on cars, was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Atlanta Falcons and Braves fan.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Lisa Edge Cline; sons, Jared (Jessica) Cline, Justin (Leah) Cline; grandchildren, Hudson Gregory Cline and Isabella Lynn Cline; parents, Sam and Shirley Cline all of McDonough; sister, Janel Lee Cline of St. Mary's, Georgia.

Jo Anne “Jody” Sims, age 63, of Griffin, GA died November 6, 2013. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Pierce.

Dorothy R. Heaton
Dorothy R. Heaton, age 82, of Stockbridge, GA died November 6, 2013. She was born in Fayetteville, AL to the late John William and Minnie Bell Butler Roberson. She was preceded in death by her son, Greg Heaton. Mrs. Heaton was the owner and operator of Peter Pan Day Care.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Bill Heaton; children, Raleigh (Karen) Heaton, Rodney (Pamela) Heaton, Carolyn (Jimmy) Bryan, and Georgia (Bill) Chancellor; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Ruth St. Clair Pope
Mrs. Ruth St. Clair Pope, age 79, of Stockbridge, GA passed away November 6, 2013. Ruth was born in Cambridge Springs, PA the daughter of the late Della Lavada Cook and Joy Harvey St. Clair. Ruth was a devoted member of Stockbridge Presbyterian Church and an active member of their senior adult Gold Rush Gang. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, working in the food pantry at her church, cooking, traveling and spoiling her dog and best friend “Pretzel.” She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Pope Sr. and a brother, Charles Carson.
Survivors are her children, Kathy and Darryll Martin of Stockbridge, Donnie and Sharon Pope of McDonough and David and Shirley Pope of McDonough; 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Velma Thomas of Stockbridge and Linda Ehle of Stockbridge; brother, Billy Carson of Daytona Beach, FL.

David Clements, age 71, of McDonough, GA died November 7, 2013. He was born in Waverly, FL to Clarence Edward and Annie Jewel Clements. He was preceded in death by his mother, his son: Steven Clements, and brother: Kenneth Clements.
David is survived by his wife, Joyce; father: Clarence Clements, Dowling Park, FL; son: Chris (Patricia Garvey) Clements, Amelia Island, FL; grandsons: Colten Clements, Hunter Clements, and Colyn Melchek; sister-in-law: Frankie Clements, McDonough, GA.

Mrs. Dorothy Carter Ricks, age 90, passed away November 9, 2013. Mrs. Ricks was born in Henry County the daughter of the late Dollie Wilkerson and J. T. (Tom) Carter. Mrs. Ricks enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and working in her yard. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ricks; daughter, Patricia Darnell and a granddaughter, Pamela Skelton.
Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Wanda Ricks of McDonough; grandchildren, Jackie and Jerry Marlow of Suches, Kathy and Tim Puzdner of Locust Grove and Mark Ricks of McDonough and several great grandchildren.

George Wayne Nelson
George Wayne Nelson, age 65, of Jackson, GA, passed away November 10, 2013 at his residence. He was born on July 16, 1948 in Decatur to the late Charles Edward Nelson and the late Marion Elizabeth Childress Nelson. Wayne was a plumber and member of Local 72.

Michael S. Landers
Michael S. Landers, age 59 of McDonough, Georgia passed away November 10, 2013. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Patterson S. and Bobbie Tucker Landers. Mike was employed with FSL Group, was an avid reader and enjoyed watching television.
Survivors include his mother, Bobbie Jennings of Atlanta; brother, Robert Jennings of Atlanta; aunts and uncle, Betty Faass of Morrow and Dorothy (Everett) Stow of Smyrna; several cousins.
