 Mount Zion UMC will hold its Christmas Eve Communion and Candle Light Service at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24. They will continue their Fifth Sunday music services by hosting a community-wide Sing-A-Long at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29 in the church sanctuary. Special music will be provided by guests and the Mount Zion Choir, with congregational singing. Mike Wallace is choir director, and Alice Wallace is pianist. Refreshments will follow the Sing-A-Long in Harper Hall. The church is located at 984 Panola Road in Ellenwood.

Community Bible Church has the following programs coming up in January: preview night for Financial Peace University is on Wednesday, January 15 at 6:30 p.m. DivorceCare is also the same night at 6:30 p.m. It is a 12-week divorce recovery support group where you can find help and healing from the hurt of separation and divorce. GriefShare is on Thursday, January 16 at 7 p.m. it is a 13-week grief support group with caring people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.
