The generous donation was made possible through a program where a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Pedigree products went to support local, non-profit animal shelters, to assist shelter officials in finding permanent homes for homeless dogs. This is the second year that Pedigree Brand and Kroger have partnered to assist Henry County Animal Care and Control.

Jim Pusateri, manager of the Hudson Bridge Kroger Grocery Store #493 in Stockbridge, presented a check to Henry County Animal Care and Control Director, Gerri Yoder, at Tuesday’s regular Commission meeting, where the Henry County Board of Commissioners approved acceptance of the donation.
