  Heritage Baptist Church invites the community to worship with them each Sunday. Sunday School is at 10 a.m.; Sunday morning service is at 11 a.m.; Sunday evening service is at 6 p.m. and Wednesday service is at 7 p.m. Nursery is provided for all services.   Glen Haven Baptist Church invite the community to worship on Sunday, January 19 in the 8:15, 9:45, and 11 a.m. services.   Locust Grove United Methodist Church invites the community to worship on  Sunday mornings. At 8:45  a.m. they have a casual traditional service. A sausage and biscuit breakfast is from 9:30 to 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. At the 11 a.m. service enjoy a mix of hymns and praise songs led by their worship choir and praise band.   Henry Baptist Church offers  DivorceCare, a 13-week, recovery support group for those who have experienced separation or divorce. The next 13-week session will begin Monday, February 3 at 6:30 p.m.  DivorceCare For Kids (DC4K) for children of divorced or separated parents is also offered. DC4K is for children ages 5-12, and runs simultaneously with the DivorceCare sessions. The cost is $15 for a workbook. For more information, or to register, contact the church office at 770-914-1191.  Liberty Hill Baptist Church invites the community to come hear Arch McGarity, Chief Judge of Henry County Superior Courts, on Friday January 24. The topic will be Building A Godly Legacy. Free B.B.Q. will be served starting at 6 p.m. This is the kick-off for the Benaiah Men's Conference, which begins Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission for Saturday will be Adults $20 and Ages 15-18 years $15.   One Heart Community Church invites youth to January 17 Youth Bowling. Participants will meet at the church at 6:30 p.m. On January 18 their Serve the Homeless outreach will leave the church at 6 a.m. On January 25 Senior Craft Day begins at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.   The Ole Country Church invites the community to their 3rd Sunday Night Singing on January 19 at 6 p.m. featuring The Heirborn Quartet from Rockmart, GA. The church is located at 2649 Hwy. 155 North in McDonough 


  Community Bible Church has the following programs coming up in January: preview night for Financial Peace University is on Wednesday, January 15 at 6:30 p.m. DivorceCare is also the same night at 6:30 p.m. It is a 12-week divorce recovery support group where you can find help and healing from the hurt of separation and divorce. Grief-Share is on Thursday, January 16 at 7 p.m. It is a 13-week grief support group with caring people who help with one of life’s most difficult experiences.   Wesley Chapel UMC invite youth to participate in the 9th annual Henry County Youth MLK Celebration on Saturday, January 18 at 5 p.m. On January 20 the community is invited to breakfast and the MLK Parade at 8 a.m. On January 26, their Veterans American Sunday Supper is at 3 p.m. For more info call 770-957-4728.
