  Glen Haven Baptist Church invites the community to worship January 26 in the 8:15, 9:45 and 11 a.m. services. Awana Clubs meet at 5:30 and the evening service is at 6 p.m. Looking ahead, Grief Share class will begin on Sunday, February 9 at 4 p.m. Please remember the midweek service on Wednesday, January 29 at 6:45 p.m. For more info call 678-432-5138 or visit for worship services online.   Mount Zion UMC will have “A Souper Bowl of Caring” lunch after the morning worship service on Sunday, February 2. Food and cash will be donated to Joseph’s Pantry.  They will also hold their 25th Annual “Love Light” service at 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 9. Names of the “Honored Living” will be read, and candles will be lighted for “Those We Remember.” Money from this service will be used by the choir for music ministry. The community is invited to attend the service at 984 Panola Road in Ellenwood.


  Heritage Baptist Church invites the community to worship with them each Sunday.   Locust Grove United Methodist Church invites the community to worship on  Sunday mornings. At 8:45  a.m. They have a casual traditional service. A sausage and biscuit breakfast is from 9:30 to 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. At the 11 a.m. service enjoy a mix of hymns and praise songs led by their worship choir and praise band.   Henry Baptist Church offers  DivorceCare, a 13-week, recovery support group for those who have experienced separation or divorce. The next 13-week session will begin Monday, February 3 at 6:30 p.m.  DivorceCare For Kids (DC4K) for children of divorced or separated parents is also offered. DC4K is for children ages 5-12, and runs simultaneously with the DivorceCare sessions. The cost is $15 for a workbook. For more information, or to register, contact the church office at 770-914-1191.   Liberty Hill Baptist Church invites the community to come hear Arch McGarity, Chief Judge of Henry County Superior Courts, on Friday January 24. The topic will be Building A Godly Legacy. Free B.B.Q. will be served starting at 6 p.m. This is the kick-off for the Benaiah Men's Confer-ence, which begins Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission for Saturday will be Adults $20 and Ages 15-18 years $15.   Wesley Chapel UMC invites the community to their Veterans American Sunday Supper on January 26 at 3 p.m. On Saturday, February 1 at 10 a.m. the Higher Education Team will host the second Student Success Workshop.
