Annual Hospital Garden Party to be held March 29

Submitted

The 34th Annual Piedmont Henry Hospital Garden Party will be held at Eagle’s Landing Country Club on Saturday, March 29.  This year’s theme will be “Rockin’ Pink” and funds raised will go toward Cancer Wellness programs at Piedmont Henry.

Each October the hospital coordinates a successful campaign to turn Henry County pink through its Real Men Wear Pink Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.  Will Turpin of Collective Soul and a 2013 member of Real Men Wear Pink donated a special edition Fender pink guitar for auction.  This led to the Special Events Committee selecting a rockin’ pink theme.  Guests are encouraged to wear elegant attire with a touch of pink.

A live auction will be held during the night. In addition to the pink guitar, other items including a breast cancer awareness handmade quilt and a football autographed by former Atlanta Falcon quarterback Steve Bartkowski will be auctioned

Pink Sponsors of this year’s event include Emerginet, DeKalb Pathology and Dr. Scott Timbert of Southern Crescent Breast Specialists. Tickets for this year’s Garden Party are $125 and are limited. Sponsorships are available from $2,500 to $10,000. All funds from ticket sales, sponsorships and auction sales will directly benefit the Cancer Wellness Program at Piedmont Henry Hospital through the Piedmont Foundation. Cocktails are at 6 p.m. Contact the Marketing & Public Relations department at Piedmont Henry by calling 678-604-1026 or via e-mail at Michelle.Nunnally@piedmont.org to purchase tickets or become a sponsor.
