  Crosspoint Community Church will have a yard sale on Saturday, June 7 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. to raise money for their Youth Mission Camp (MERGE) in July. They have everything from furniture to tools priced to sell. Rain date is June 14. The church is located at 2094 N. Hwy 42 in Jenkinsburg.


  McDonough First Assembly of God invites the community to come celebrate their 62nd Homecoming at 11 a.m. on June 1 with worship followed with a covered dish dinner in the church fellowship hall.   Union United Methodist Church will host Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University Tuesday evenings from 7 until 8:30 p.m. beginning June 3. Call the church at 770-483-4338 to reserve your spot. The church is located at 4600 Hwy. 138 SW in Stockbridge.


    Flippen United Methodist Church will host a Catfish Fry on Saturday, May 31 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The meal will include catfish, hush puppies, french fries, cole slaw, drink and dessert.  First Baptist Church of Locust Grove invites area children to attend their Weird Animals Vacation Bible School 2014. It will be held Monday, June 9 through Friday, June 13 from 9 a.m. until noon.   Wesley Chapel UMC invites the community to worship with them each Sunday at the 8 and 11 a.m. services. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. Bible Study is held each Wednesday at noon.   Glen Haven Baptist Church welcomes the community to services on Sunday, May 25 at 8:15, 9:45 and 11 a.m. There will not be an evening service.    Agape International Ministries invite the community to their first annual “May I Pray for You” campaign. They will take prayer outside of the walls into the community on Saturday, May 24 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The church will have prayer stations on the McDonough Square to pray for those in need.      Locust Grove United Methodist Church invites the community to worship with them.
