Benefit ride for Breast Cancer Survivors’ Network

  Liberty Hill Baptist Church F.A.I.T.H. Riders will host Miles for Hope, an escorted ride to benefit The Breast Cancer Survivors’ Network, on Satur-day, October 4. All funds raised stay in Georgia. The ride starts at Bellamy Strickland Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, 145 Industrial Blvd., McDonough and ends in Warm Springs. For more information or to register for the event, visit or call 770-487-4396.


HIV/AIDS Support Group

Community C.A.R.E. (Com-munity AIDS/HIV Response and Education), a support group for those living with HIV and AIDS, will hold group meetings every 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. They will be held at Community Bible Church, located at 2001 Jodeco Road in Stockbridge. (For confidentiality reasons, the room number will be provided only on request.)  Peer 2 Peer NAMI Class

  The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is holding a Peer 2 Peer free 10-week Education Class on the topic of Mental Health Recovery at Jodeco Road United Methodist Church. Participants must have a diagnosis. The classes are held every Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. Refreshments will be served. The church is located at 1500 Jodeco Road in Stockbridge. Stockbridge High Multi-Year Reunion

  The Stockbridge High School multi-year reunion for classes 1966 through 1982 will be held October 18 at the Atlanta Airport  Marriott Hotel in College Park. The price is $70 per person until September 1. The cost is $80 cash at door. For more info call Keith Craddock at 678-618-1607.
