Bethel UMC invites the community to their annual Chicken Fry and Blood Drive on Saturday, March 24. The Men’s Ministry will be frying the chicken and invite you to join them for a meal of fried chicken, tator logs, coleslaw and a drink. New Big Springs Baptist Church will host their Women’s Annual Spring Tea on Saturday, April 14 at 3 p.m. Minister Edna Cason of Springfield Baptist /Hope of Glory will be the guest speaker. The theme is “a cup of tea and a spot of uni-tea.” The scripture is “finally, all of you, be like minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble” 1 Peter 3:8.
