Henry Police Department Collecting School Supplies
The Henry County Police Department is collecting donations for their first annual Bookbags and Badges School Supplies Drive from now through July 20. Drop off items at the Henry County Police Headquarters, 108 Zack Hinton Parkway, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. They are seeking donations of new bookbags, paper, pens, pencils and any other school essentials. Grief Recovery Open Seminar
Are you or someone you know dealing with heartbreak from a loss of any kind? Join us for a free Grief Recovery Open Seminar offered both in-person and online. The in-person talk will be held the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 6:30 pm -7:30 pm, at 825 Pavilion Court, McDonough, GA 30253. The online talk will be held the 4th Wednesday of each month from 4 pm – 5 pm on Zoom. Seats are limited, so registration is required for both events. GriefShare meetings held locally
Weekly meetings of the GriefShare Ministry will be held Tuesdays from now through November 1 at 6:30 – 8 p.m. nightly at Shiloh Baptist Church. Used instruments needed
Henry Arts Alliance is seeking donations of used musical instruments for children in music band, or orchestra who cannot participate because of the cost. The organization will refurbish used instruments and deliver them to teachers who are asking for help.
