The Henry County Parks and Recreation Department (HCPR) earned the District 6 Agency of the Year award from the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association.

  Employees from the Parks and Recreation Department were recognized with awards as well. James “Bull” Martin, Fairview Recreation Center’s Facility Coordinator won the District 6 Distinguished Professional award and Peggy Hesselbach, HCPR’s Recreation Athletics Specialist won the District 6 Athletics /Aquatics Network award.
