Sease, of McDonough, entered a guilty plea to three counts of vehicular homicide, two counts of driving under the influence and one count of reckless driving. He will be sentenced in Henry County Superior Court in December for the death of Andy Davis.

Davis sculpted the Patrick Henry statue in McDonough’s Square and the Martin Luther King Jr. statue in front of the Georgia capital.

Davis was waiting at the light at Jodeco Road and the Interstate 75 ramp on July 11, 2015 when Sease’s truck struck his motorcycle. Davis, 56, later died. Sease, who was 20, had alcohol and marijuana in his system at the time of the wreck.
