Charles Ray Williams

  Mr. Charles Ray Williams, age 72 of McDonough, Ga., passed away June 1, 2019.

  A celebration of life for Mr. Williams was held on June 8, 2019 at Trinity Lakeside Church. Dylan Mark Headrick

  Mr. Dylan Mark Headrick, age 22, of Blairsville, Ga., formerly of McDonough, Ga., passed away peacefully on Sunday June 2, 2019 at Northeast GA Medical Center following a brief illness. Dylan was born on June 5, 1996 in Watsonville, Calif., the son of Mark C. Headrick and Thea Nina Powell Headrick. Dylan has been described as one of the kindest, purest hearts you’d ever meet, and brilliant beyond his years. He had attended Georgia Tech and was an amazing woodworker, musician, tinkerer, mechanic and engineer, but most importantly, a loving, caring son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. In his short life, he touched the lives of so many who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Powell and an uncle, Kip Headrick.

  Surviving Dylan are his parents, Mark and Thea Headrick of Blairsville, one sister and her fiance, Carly Mae Headrick of Blairsville and Andrew Moody of McDonough, grandparents, Dave and Shirley Hulligan of East Wenatchee, Wash., Jay and Joan Headrick of Magalia, Calif., aunts and uncles, Jim and Carmen Darcey of Squaw Valley, Calif., Clark and Eileen Headrick of Clarkston, Mich., several cousins and many other relatives and friends.

  A celebration of Dylan’s life will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the charity closest to your heart in Dylan’s memory. Casina Gale Maddox

  Casina ‘Cennie’ Gale Maddox, age 76 of McDonough went to be with her Lord on June 4, 2019 after battling a long illness. She was born to the late Brantley Hart and the late Virgina Lankford on September 21, 1942. Cennie worked in the medical profession for many years, later she joined her husband Leland Maddox to work at Maddox Exterminators in Henry County. She was a member of the Optimist Club International for several years. She enjoyed working on projects to help children in the community. Her greatest past time was a trip to the casino.  She was a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church. 

  She is survived by her dearest love Leland Maddox, sons  – Jonathon Schoffstall of Stockbridge, Timothy Schoffstall and girlfriend Tammy of McDon- ough, and daughter and son-in- law Donna and Fred Huffman of McDonough; grandson and wife Bobby and Leanna Mehan of Bremen, step-granddaughter and husband Kim and Byron Tucker of Locust Grove; great-granddaughters – Brittany Huffman, Avery Kate Mehan, and Madelyn Mehan; great-great-grandson Jace Huffman; sisters – Dottie Berry, June Akins, Billye Raye Eder, Bonnie Campfield, Brother Brant Hart, and a number of nieces, nephews, great, and great-great nieces and nephews. 

  A memorial service was held at Union Grove Baptist Church, 1360 East Lake Road, McDonough, GA 30252 on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. The family truly appreciates all the support and prayers from friends and a very special thank you to the Southern Grace Hospice team! 

Douglas Wesley Camp

  Douglas Wesley Camp, age 77, of McDonough, Ga., passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Elizabeth Caldwell Frost

  Elizabeth (Betty) Frost, age 94, of McDonough, Ga., entered glory on June 6, 2019. Betty was born in Washington, Iowa and joined the Navy for two years prior to entering nursing school. She was very active in her church, her sewing group “Loving Hands” and loved her “Birthday Girls.” She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Frost and four siblings.

  She is survived by two children, Jenny and Harold Jenkins of  McDonough and Jim and Leslee Frost of Johns Creek; grandchildren, Doug Jenkins, Beth Grant, Drew Jenkins and Jamie Frost; seven great-grandchildren, Sydney Grant, Sasha Grant, Sawyer Grant, Elina Jenkins, Vivi Jenkins, Josephine Jenkins, Lendy Jenkins and a brother, David Caldwell of Sumter, S.C.

  A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at McDonough Christian Church. For those who wish, donations may be made to Loving Hands in care of McDonough Christian Church, McDonough, Ga.
