Gloria Eugenia Garland
Mrs. Gloria Eugenia Garland, 79, of Locust Grove, Ga., passed away on October 22, 2019. She was born in Locust Grove, Ga., to the late O’Dell and Willie Ruth Cleveland. Gloria attended First Baptist Church of Locust Grove. She enjoyed farming with her husband and loved her family. She is predeceased by her granddaughters: Amanda Bohach and Angie Hodges; and sister: JoAnne Norton.
Mrs. Garland is survived by her husband of 35 years: James Garland; children: Allen (Susan) Garland, Tempie (Bill) Kitchens, Andy (Peggy) Garland, Barry (Kathy) Collins, and Cindy (Timmy) Raines, all of Locust Grove; grandchildren: Ashley (Dean) Wilson, Joe Garland, Danny (Jennifer) Kitchens, Benjamin Kitchens, Nichole (Josh) Kimbrel, Andrew (Whitney) Garland, Lance (Boo) Collins, Becky (Scott) Whittle, and Jessi (Trevor) McKinley; nine great grandchildren with one on the way; sister: Patricia Darley; sister-in-law: Jean (Jesse) Sims; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at Haisten Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Talon Noh and Pastor Mike Smith officiating.
