The holiday season is wrapping up and when it’s time to take the Christmas tree down, simply stop by the Henry County Recycling Center and drop it off.

  The Recycling Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  In addition to yard debris like clippings, branches, limbs, grass and leaves, other recyclable items the Recycling Center accepts include clear/brown (amber)/green glass, tin cans, plastics #1, such as juice, soda, and water bottles, plastics #2 such as milk jugs and liquid detergent bottles, aluminum foil (food residue free), cans, food trays, cardboard and paperboard.
