  The Henry County NAACP will be hosting a 2020 Vision Prayer Breakfast at Shiloh Baptist Church on Saturday, January 18 at 9 a.m. The guest speaker will be Clinton McFarland, Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church. Shiloh Baptist Church is located at  262 Macon Street on McDonough.

  The Henry County NAACP will also be hosting their annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Freedom March/Parade on Monday, January 20 at 10 a.m.

  Those who wish to participate in the parade can sign up online at www.henrycountyganaacp .com or by phone at 404-399-1161.

  At 9 a.m. on the day of the parade, participants will line up at the Henry County Performing Arts Center, located at 37 Lemon Street in McDonough.

  The parade will begin at 10 a.m.

  A program will follow the parade at the Henry County Performing Arts Center, located at 37 Lemon Street in McDonough.

  The Martin L. King Jr. weekend celebration is sponsored by the Henry County NAACP branch.
