  The Redeeming Resource Refuge Ministry, Inc. will be hosting their annual First Responders Appreciation Emergency Fundraising Banquet at the Heritage Park Recreation Ballroom on Saturday, February 1 at 2:00 p.m. in honor of Governor Brian Kemp declaring the day ‘First Responders Appreciation and Celebration Day.’

  The opportunity to purchase tickets for the event has been extended through January 20. All remaining tickets have been reduced to $20. Free tickets are now available to first responders and mayors. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  Please RSVP with a ticket purchase by January 20.

  Warren Holder, former Henry County Board of Commissioner Chairman, will be the keynote speaker for the event.

  Victoria Hill, Miss. Georgia 2019,  will be available for photos and autographs, in addition to sharing a few words of encouragement and performing a solo in the program.

  The Henry County Veteran Museum team will be bringing their mobile unit to the parking lot for free on-site tours.

  A portion of the donations from the event will be given to the Henry County’s Veteran’s Museum at Heritage Park.

  Drawings and raffles will also take place at the event.

  Ongoing tax-deductible donations are requested to support other emergency funding sources for causes such as the homeless, senior citizens and veterans. 

  The Heritage Park Recreation Ballroom is located at 99 Lake Dow Road in McDonough.
