State Representative Andy Welch addressed members of the Andrew McBride Chapter, NSDAR, at the chapter’s February meeting. Mr. Welch gave a special presentation in commemoration of Georgia Day with a focus on the early history of Georgia.

He also spoke of the contributions of female patriots during the Revolutionary War, noting Abigail Minis as an example. He concluded his presentation by answering questions about some of the issues under consideration during this year’s legislative session.
