  Early voting is underway in Henry County for the August 11 general primary/nonpartisan run- off election.

  For the week of July 27-31, polls are open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays at the following locations: Elections & Voter Registration main office, 40 Atlanta Street, McDonough; Merle Manders Conference Center, 111 Davis Road, Stockbridge; Fortson Library, 61 McDonough Street, Hampton.

  The week of August 3-7, the hours are extended to 7 a.m.-7 p.m. weekdays with three locations added: Locust Grove Library, 115 MLK Jr. Blvd., Locust Grove; Fairview Recreation Center, 35 Austin Road, Stockbridge; JP Moseley Recreation Center, 1041 Millers Mill Road, Stockbridge.

  For those who cannot get out to vote on one of those days, polls at all six locations will be open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, August 1.

  Any registered Henry County voters can use any of the above locations during early voting. If you wait until August 11, you must vote at your precinct.

  Voters may check their voter registration at mvp.sos.ga.gov.
