  The Henry County Rotary Club will be taking donations of home medical equipment on Saturday, August 22 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of McDonough, 101 Macon Street.

Call 770-491-9014 ext. 114 on or before Wednesday, August 19 to schedule a pickup for Saturday, August 22. On the day of the event, call 678-467-3039 for general direction.

  Requested items include:

  Manual and electric wheelchairs (including footrests); standers, corner chairs, Rollators, toilet supplies, specialized mattresses (no regular mattresses), canes, crutches and forearm crutches, braces, Hoyer lifts, scooters, adaptive strollers, gait trainers, shower supports, therapy aids, walkers, bathing aids, air casts and hospital beds.

  The equipment will be donated to  Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC), a non profit group that collects, repairs and provides over 7,000 home medical equipment items to the public each year at no cost.
