  The community is invited to a 9/11 ceremony on Friday, September 11.

  Four separate ceremonies will take place beginning at 8:46 and ending after the last ceremony at 10:04. 

  Event organizers recommend that spectators arrive at 8:30, as traffic will be stopped during the ceremony. 

  Participating in the ceremony will be the McDonough Fire Department, the McDonough Police Department, Henry County Schools’ NJROTC, the Marine Corps League, the Marine Corps Honor Guard, American Legion Post 516, the Gold Wing Road Riders Group, and the Patriot Guard Riders. 

  The ceremony will take place at the intersection of Hwy. 20 (Hampton/McDonough Road) and Industrial Blvd.

  It is recommended that spectators park at the McDonald’s across the street from Arby’s. The McDonald’s is located at 885 Industrial Blvd. in McDonough.

  Social distancing during the ceremony is encouraged.
