  The early voting schedule in Henry County has been set for the November general election.

  Polls open October 12 at two locations: the county’s election office, 40 Atlanta Street in McDonough; and the Merle Manders Conference Center, 111 Davis Road in Stockbridge. Voters can cast their ballots between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. the week of October 12-16 and also Saturday, October 17, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

  Hours are extended to 7 a.m.-7 p.m. the week of October 19-23 at those two locations, along with an afternoon session Sunday, October 25, 1-5 p.m.

  Six sites will be open for voting Saturday, October 24, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. In addition to the aforementioned locations, polls will be open at Fortson Library, 61 McDonough Street in Hampton; Fairview Recreation Center, 35 Austin Road in Stockbridge; J.P. Moseley Recreation Center, 1041 Millers Mill Road in Stockbridge; and Locust Grove Library, 115 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Locust Grove.

  All six locations will be open October 26-30 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  A Henry County voter can go to any of these sites for early voting. Anyone who waits until election day (Tuesday, November 3) must vote at his or her regular precinct.

  The last day to register to vote for the 2020 general election is October 5. Voters may check their voter registration at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/. For further information or to request an absentee ballot, phone 770-288-6448.
