  Central Georgia EMC (CGEMC) recently presented the Henry County Chamber of Commerce, the Henry County Development Authority, and the Henry County Board of Education with checks totaling $79,500 to go toward education, community, and economic development activities.

  Additionally, the Henry County Development Authority was presented with a check for $20,000 for its Targeted Industry Study. The study focuses on four industry sectors that contribute to private-sector job growth, wealth creation, and the economy’s diversification.

   Central Georgia EMC presented 23 checks this month, totaling $265,650 to area Chambers of Commerce, Industrial Development Authorities, and School Boards throughout the service territory.
