On Saturday, October 31 at 11 a.m. contestants in the FERST Readers of Henry Character Contest will be in costume at Story on the Square in McDonough. The community is invited to attend to meet the characters and for photo opportunities with them. Afterwards there will be a parade down to the Beatles sculpture at Fallas Family Vision, then on to Queen Bee. Voting for the contest ends at midnight on Halloween. Funds raised by the contest will be used to purchase books for preschool students in Henry County. Vote for your favorite character and help support childhood literacy in Henry County.
