Miracle Mission Hope House Inc., will be giving out free food baskets and boxes for Thanksgiving on Friday, November 19 from 6 until 8 p.m. at 466 Simpson Street, McDonough, Ga. 30253. Cowboy chicken is partnering with Miracle Mission to give out cooked meals on this day. Meals will be passed out until they are gone.

The nonprofit organization is seeking financial donations as well as the following items:

Turkeys, Hams, Fried Chicken, Cranberry sauce, Fresh Collard greens, Cabbage, Green Beans, Black-eyed Peas, Cornmeal, Eggs, Kraft Macaroni, Kraft Cheese (sharp cheddar), sweet potatoes, canned milk, cinnamon, pie crusts, sugar, 20 cases water, 200 to-go trays, 200 plastic cups, 200 regular plates, napkins, utensils, onions, cakes, pies, tea, ice and cream of chicken soup.

They are also seeking volunteers for the event. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Marlene Lemons at 404-454-9854 or by email at lemons_marlene@yahoo.com. Donations can be dropped off at their facility from Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. All checks should be made out to Miracle Mission Hope House Inc.
