Robert Edwin Hearn
Robert Edwin Hearn, age 67, of Stockbridge, Ga., passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Robert was born December 4, 1954 in Chicago, Ill., to Frances Amanda Wooten Hearn and the late Billy Alonza Hearn. Robert was a graduate of Henry County High School, Class of 1972. He loved music and playing the harmonica. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Gregg Allman fan and was passionate about playing Santa and putting a sparkle of joy in children and adults alike during the Christmas season. Robert was “Papa” to his six beautiful grandchildren and “Ro” to his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Price Hearn; children, Luke (Shannon) Hearn of Peachtree City, Jake (Jenny) Hearn of Locust Grove and Nicole (Tim) Leach of Marietta; grandchildren, Landon, Aiden, Ava Grace, Avery, Jiles and Jet; mother, Frances Hearn of Smiths Station, Ala.; siblings, Amanda (Stanley) Washington of Jackson, Charlie (Cindy) Hearn of Hampton, Bill Hearn of Simpsonville, Ky., Linda (Bobby) Wadkins of Smiths Station, Ala., and Christie (Mike) McKemie of Valley, Ala.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff of Sacred Journey Hospice for their kindness and compassion shown to Robert and his family.
