The Genealogical Society of Henry and Clayton Counties will hold its 6th Annual Promenade Through History event on June 25 at Cannon-Cleveland Contemporary Chapel, 2580 Highway 42 North, McDonough. Performances will be held at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The event is the Genealogical Society’s main fundraiser to continue to improve the Brown House, home of the Society, and its resources. Their library presently contains over 3,000 books and online services to assist people in tracing their family’s history.

Tickets area available at: SpeakEasy Bookstore in Hampton; Warren Holder Equipment in Locust Grove; Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in McDonough; Georgian Gallery in McDonough; Moseley Furniture in Stockbridge, The Brown House in McDonough and at the venue (cash only).

The cost for adults is $15 and students are $6 with ID.
