The Henry County Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Program is granting a $2000 scholarship to a 2022 graduating Henry County High School student.

This student must be a resident of Henry County and be intent on pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, Landscape Design, or Forestry.

The recipient is chosen based on merit. If needed, applicants will be notified of an interview. Applications can be obtained from the Henry County Extension Office. The funds will be appropriated to the college or university of the scholar’s choice, and applied to tuition, books, or other required fees.

Applications must be dropped off at the Henry County Extension Office, 97 Lake Dow Road in McDonough and the deadline to apply is Friday, April 14, 2023.
