Selections for the 2023 All-Area Boys Lacrosse Team for 5A-6A, Area 8 were released earlier this week and six Union Grove High School players made the team. Luke Greer, Owen McCarthy and Jay Holcombe earned First Team selections, while Aiden Echols, Josiah Martuzas and Kenneth Wood earned Second Team honors.

Four additional Union Grove players – Merritt Turner, Caleb Johnson, Jackson Manley and Charles Terrell also received Honorable Mentions as part of this year’s All-Area Selections.

Union Grove was not the only Boys Lacrosse Team in Henry County to be recognized. Ola High School athletes Eli Johns, Cadyn Barnes, Devin Kelly and Wade Williams also received Honorable Mentions for the 5A-6A All-Area 8 Team.
