  •Ladies Night Out for Breast Cancer Awareness will take place in the Downtown McDonough Square on Thursday, October 10, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Pink out this ladies night out by wearing all pink attire! Merchants will be offering specials and discounts. Also, enter to win a downtown gift basket with merchandise and certificates valued over $200 (must be 18 to register!   •Pink in the Pews will take place at McDonough Presbyterian on Sunday, October 13. McDonough Presbyterian invites attendees to wear pink to the 11:00 a.m. service. Previous Real Men Wear Pink campaign members are invited to attend. Representatives from Piedmont Henry will also be in attendance. Greg Canon, previous Real Men Wear Pink campaign member, will be the worship leader alongside an all pink choir. Reverend Dana Waters will wear a breast cancer stole during the service. Tony Moye, current Real Men Wear Pink campaign member, will be delivering the Mission Moment. Attendees will be given pink service bulletins and pink ribbons to wear.   •Piedmont Henry’s Proud to be Pink Party will take place on Thursday, October 17, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Story on the Square, 19 Griffin St, McDonough. The event will feature medical experts in the treatment of breast cancer patients in a panel to answer your questions. Panelists include Dr. Jane Woo, Breast Surgeon, Dr. Kim Neisler, Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Eric Mininberg, Oncologist, Dr. Alan Larsen, Plastic Surgeon, Shana Thornton, moderator and host of Let’s Talk America radio show, and Jackie Livingston, breast cancer survivor. The party will also include food and desserts, pink swag, and a cash bar. Seating at this event is limited, so register early! Please RSVP to donna.braddy@piedmont.org by Monday, October 14.   •The Pretty in Pink Breast Cancer Awareness “Love Walk” will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. at the Clark Park Walking Trail at 111 Davis Rd, Stockbridge. Registration is free for the event. Pre-Registered guests will receive a gift bag and T-shirt upon successful registration.
