The time has come for Henry County’s registered voters to cast their ballots in this fall’s general election.

At stake are most of the top statewide elected offices in Georgia, including governor, along with all House and Senate seats in the Georgia General Assembly and a handful of local races.

Election day is November 6 and the deadline for voter registration has passed.

Registered voters can see sample ballots at mvp.sos.ga.gov. For further information or to request an absentee ballot, call the county’s election headquarters at 770-288-6448.

Early voting begins Monday in Henry County and continues through Friday, November 2. During that time polls will open at various times at the following locations:

The main election office, 40 Atlanta St., McDonough.

Stockbridge Municipal Court Building, 4602 N. Henry Blvd., Stockbridge.

Fairview Recreation Center, 35 Austin Rd., Stockbridge.

Fortson Library, 61 McDonough St., Hampton.

Locust Grove Library, 115 MLK Jr. Blvd., Locust Grove.

Citizens can vote October 15-19 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the main election office only. Polls are open Saturday, October 20, at that location as well as Stockbridge Municipal Court Building. Those two locations are also open October 22-26 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 28, 1-5 p.m.

Saturday voting is an option October 27 at all five locations between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. All five locations are open October 29-November 2 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

There is no early voting October 21 or November 3-5.   Early voting can be done at any open location in the county regardless of where the voter lives. Voting on election day (November 6) can only be done at the appropriate precinct.
