Westbury Health & Rehabilitation of McDonough recently held its annual pageant in which eight contestants competed for the title of Ms. Westbury. Each of the contestants had a bio presented by the Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Willie Brown.

The judges for the event were Micha Austin, Administrative Asst. at Georgia Healthcare Association, Monterey Thompson, owner of Front Porch Boutique and Tracy Floyd, Community Educator at Piedmont Henry Hospital. The contestants were Margaret Bell, Deabara McKinzie, Carmen Tai, Evelyn Roberts, LouVon Wright, Norma Jones, Dorothy Avera and Bettie Barrett. The ladies were escorted by Westbury staff, family members and friends. Ms. Carmen Tai was selected as 2019 Ms. Westbury. The 1st Runner Up was Ms. Dorothy Avera and 2nd Runner Up was Ms. Evelyn Roberts. The dietary department hosted a reception immediately following the pageant.
