  Five rezoning and one Future Land Use Map amendment are on the agenda for the Henry County Zoning Advisory Board’s July 11 regular meeting.

  Jon Jordan/Hecht Walker, P.C. of Stockbridge requests a rezoning from C-1 (neighborhood commercial) to MU (mixed use) for 40 acres east of Hwy. 19/41 and west of Old Highway 3 and Old Griffin Road, for a warehouse/distribution facility.

  Robert Boan of McDonough requests a rezoning from RA (residential-agricultural) to R-2 (single-family residential) for 31 acres at 469 Mount Bethel Road, for a single-family residential subdivision.

  Jones Drive Henry 80 Properties, LLC of Stockbridge requests a rezoning from RA to R-2 S for 91.45 acres at 580 Jones Drive, for a single-family residential subdivision on sewer.

  Sealey Ventures, LLC of Brooks requests a rezoning from RA to R-2 S for 75.65 acres at 646 N. Ola Road, for a single-family residential subdivision on sewer.

  Paxton and Carol Keller of Hampton request a rezoning from RA to R-3 (single-family residential) for 43.23 acres at 540 South Hampton Road and undeveloped property immediately to the west, for a single-family residential subdivision. The site is in the city of Hampton. The applicants also request to amend the Future Land Use Map designation from Rural Residential to Medium Density Residential.

  The ZAB will convene at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners’ meeting room at the county administration building, 140 Henry Parkway in McDonough.

  All rezoning decisions by the ZAB are recommendations, and all will be heard eventually by the Board of Commissioners, who will make the final decision on approval or denial.
