In addition to fall classes, five Henry County students are starting part-time jobs as professional bank tellers this week. As participants in Work-Based Learning programs at their schools, they were hired to take part in Delta Community Credit Union’s High School Apprentice Program.

The students are Tranecia Booker, Trenaria Stephens, Kennedi Gary, Nichelle Glover, and Cody Sweet. All are 17-year-old seniors in the graduating class of 2020.

As apprentices, the students receive professional job training, a paycheck, and career opportunities at Delta Community’s branch locations in Stockbridge and McDonough.

They are among two dozen high schoolers who will spend the coming year working in Delta Community branches throughout metro Atlanta.

High school students interested in future opportunities as a High School Apprentice should contact their high school’s Work-Based Learning Coordinator.
