Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

God has blessed America! Our Democracy is safe! Although we are all aware of the divisiveness of the citizenry, shown by the closeness of the numbers in the election, 306 for Biden and 232 for Trump, we have elected a man of quality, decency, honesty, and compassion; a man who will truly make America great again  by putting action behind the words; a man who will guard our Democratic way of life.

Trump stumbled into the office of President of the United States, never actually expecting to get the job. Rather than accepting and benefitting from the advice of experienced people, he fired the majority of those who could help him, and hired many people who had little knowledge of law or government, people who admired him and fed his huge ego. Losing the fight for president has been an enormous blow to his self-esteem, making him very uncomfortable, and with that we can sympathize, but his incompetence as president in handling our present pandemic, or the separation of families at the Mexican border, cannot be excused. What immigrant mother who has been sent back to Mexico or another country, leaving her child behind in the United States, does not cry, wondering, “is my child all right?”

President Biden will take the job of reuniting families that have been torn apart seriously, just as he will work with all citizens to heal our beloved country, solve the economic problem, provide jobs, and work with scientists to rid us of this terrible Coronavirus. We will learn to live in a civil manner again, respecting the rights of all people, regardless of race or creed. Our new president knows the hopes and fears of his people, because he has empathy, compassion and respect for each individual. Too, he has a tremendous asset in Kamala Harris, his vice president, a strong and intelligent woman who will always back him.

So, let us all work together to regain our dignity, the respect of our former allies, as well as other nations, all lost during the past president’s term.

Remember, not only are we all God’s children, but we will get rid of thousands of tweets!

Absolutely United States as a whole needs to heal and moving forward. Thank you so much for your comment. Correct Biden will be the President who can help U.S. become a well respected country again. It will not be easy but it will be better for all of the American people.

    Hey Henry,

Welcome to America, now a bona fide third world banana republic due to the farce elections we are still going through. We apparently have “elected” a do nothing person who for over half a century has done nothing for the country except to line his pockets and his family members with american tax monies. His commie supporters and electors have no plan to bring us together and the world is again laughing at us. Commander in Chief (bwa ha ha). We are going to get what we deserve.
